GFAV EXECUTIVE
An association needs a mix of experienced and passionate executive to drive value. We have that.
GFAVs own constitution was founded by Victorian game fishing Clubs. These Clubs and their committees played integral and important roles in not only steering, but shaping the sport of game fishing across Australia.
The decision to form a state body was to protect these Clubs interests and anglers alike.
The executive not only makes decisions on behalf of the Victorian game fishing Clubs and all affiliated members, it serves and upholds the GFAAs principles and Codes of Practise, as well supporting the sport of game fishing and conservation of fin fish worldwide.

Meet the current Executive and Office Bearers
The current GFAV executive committee works on behalf on all Victorian Game Fishing Affiliated Clubs.
We are a passionate group of volunteers, who all currently hold memberships at fishing Clubs affiliated with GFAV. Many also hold office bearer executive committee roles at these Clubs and are part of the GFAA Executive.
"As the new president of the GFAV, and after my experiences as a member of the GFAA executive, I'm looking to continue the dedication and hard work of the past years.
However, I really want to open up the lines of communication between our affiliated anglers, so they see that their membership extends out to a state level representation and platform for them to benefit from."
